Arcade Games

William Hills online casino has a vast range of games that you probably wouldn’t expect to see in an online. These are grouped together in their “Casual Games” section (hover your mouse over the Casual Games button in the main lobby and then select “Arcade Games from there) There are ten games in this section and all of them are based on the outcome of a series of spins or rolls.

Around The World

Around the World is a nice little game that you can play at WillHills online casino. You start by placing your bet, which can be as little as £/$/E0.10 or as high as £/$/E100. The idea is simple – a reel containing the numbers 1-49 will spin. All you have to do is predict whether the next number is going to be higher or lower than this number. If you get it right, you move around the board. If you get it wrong then you lose a life. Lose two lives and your game is over.

At certain points around the board you will get to a worldwide destination. You will then be asked if you want to take the win or continue. If you continue you can try and make it to the next destination, which will have a bigger win, but if you lose then you lose everything. Ther are also three additional symbols on the reel;

RS – landing on this will remove a strike that you had previous been given, allowing you the chance to move farther along the game board

AS – landing on this will add a square to your strikes, increasing you strikes from 2 to 3, allowing you to make one more incorrect prediction before the game ends.

AL – this will add a landmark to your playing area, reducing the gaps between the landmarks and giving you more chance to take a win.

This is a very simple game to play, but because its so nicely presented its actually quite good fun. Its hidden away in the lobby, and in my mind William Hil should probably raise its prominence so that more people get the chance to play it.

Heads or Tails

Showing a screen that represents a pub table with three people around it (surprisingly drinking pints bearing in mind the Gambleaware focus on drinking and gambling), Heads or Tails is a simple guessing game where you predict whether a coin is going to land on Heads or Tails. To start you choose your wager, and then select which way you think the coin is going to land. You can then press either the Flip x1, Flip x2 or Flip x3 button. Pressing the Flip x1 button means that you win if you predict correctly on the toss of one coin, Flip x2 if you guess the outcome of two coin flips and Flip x3 will pay out if you correctly guess the outcome of three coin flips. Well, I say predict – you cant change your choice once it is made, so a Flip x 3 bet, although it will pay more than a Flip x 1 bet means that you are betting on the same outcome in each of the three spins. You can choose to play with one of two coins. William Hill Live Casino is the place to play Heads or Tails.

Pop Bingo

The “Pop” in pop bingo appears to be short for Popcorn. This is a single card bingo game and the aim of the game is to cover off all the numbers on your card in the shortest possible time. You can wager up to £/$/E100 a go, and you have to do is press Start. Animated popcorn will shoot up the screen, covering off your numbers. Cover off all 15 of your numbers within 40 pops and you win the jackpot. However, the longer it takes, the less you win. If it take you 90 pops then you lose.

Rollercoaster Dice

The only thing Rollercoaster about this game is the background! Its just a simple dice game where you predict the outcome of a series of dice rolls. Decide whether the total of the next roll will be higher or lower than the previous roll and attempt to move up the rollercoaster. If you predict correctly then you move up the rollercoaster until you hit a monetary amount. You can then either take this amount or carry on for more money – however if you lose then you lose everything that you had won in that round so far.

William Hill Reels

This is an incredibly simple 3 reel slot with 1 payline. The main difference between this and any other slot machine that you can play is that you choose how much each payline will pay you as a multiplier of the stake you put against it. Which sounds interesting, and would be if it worked. When we played it you couldn’t put any wager next to the top two payouts, so whats the point of playing? No wonder Wiliam Hill decided to hide this in their arcade section.
