Using your skill you have to determine whether it is possible to make a hand that is superior to everyone elses.

Another round of betting commences and a fourth card is drawn. You now have six cards to make a hand of five cards. One more round of betting commences and the final card is drawn and shown face up with the other four that have been drawn. You now have 5 cards on the table that everyone can see, and two in your hand that only you can see. More betting occurs until its time for everyone to show their hands. Whoever has the highest scoring hand wins.

 

 

Red Dog Poker

Red Dog Poker is an interesting variant of the poker games that most people know. In the willhill version of Red Dog Poker the suit of the card is not important, and the cards value is determined by the value they show on their face – numbered cards are worth the number on the card, whereas Jacks are worth 11, Queens are worth 12, Kings worth 13, and Aces worth 14 points.

After paying your wager to play, you are dealt two cards. You need the value of the second card to be higher than the value of the first card. If this happens, and the dealers cards also follow the same route (card two value is higher than card one value) then it is a draw. You get half your stake returned, and a new round begins.

If your two cards are not consecutive or equal in value then a split is determined. So if you were dealt a 3 and a 7, the split would be 3 (cards 4,5 and 6 are the split between them). Now its time to bet. When you have completed betting, a third card is drawn. If the card drawn falls between your split (so in our example, the third card was a 6) then you win. Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow poker is a very popular variation of a standard poker game and uses the same scoring system. You are dealt 7 cards and have to make 2 hands – a hand of five cards that scores in the same way as a normal poker hand, and a second hand of two cards. Your first hand must always be higher in value than your second hand.

Although Pai Gow poker uses a standard deck of cards, it also utilises one joker. This joker can be used as a Wild Card to help you make up either a straight, flush or straight flush. In all other hands it is valued as an Ace. Once you have decided on the make up of your two hands, they are compare to the dealers hands. If you hands score higher in value than the dealers then you win.

 

 

Caribbean Stud Poker

Although the name itself conjures up images of a dodgy 70’s porn movie, Caribbean Stud Poker is a variation of online poker where you only play with 5 cards. All 5 cards are dealt face up at the beginning of the game.

You then choose whether to stay in or fold. If you stay in, then you can choose to bet you wager again or hold. After this bet is placed the dealer will show his five cards. If the dealer does not have an Ace/King combination or better then you win, and this win is paid out at evens. If the dealers hand is higher than yours then you lose.
